This past September, We made a brief trip to new Orleans with friends from Chicago for the purpose of enjoying a night in the museum. As part of a new photographic exhibition, "Past and Present", several of my own photos became part of Pictures in an Art Museum.
Our visit included dinner at Antoine's, the oldest restaurant in the City, and Dickie Brennan's French Quarter, Tableau, overlooking Jackson Square. Ater dinner, the group was invited to a VIP concert at nearby Preservation Hall.
Many old close friends from New Orleans were also invited to the Museum for the special evening.
After our visitors let for home, we settled down to touring and smaller places like Domilici's Po Boys.
